We are a beautiful estate, situated on our scenic 144.63 acres of rolling hills and flat lands in the Petaluma Gap, Sonoma Coast. Over 4 decades ago, the Karah family was excited about the prospect of farming in California, and was advised by UC Davis to grow grapes, based on the terroir and climate. The intention was to perfect the viticulture skills and grow Pinot Noir of the highest quality. Afterward Karah made the gutsy decision of building his own winery. Seated on the peak of the hill, right off of Highway 101, in Cotati, Sonoma County, the vineyard offers panoramic views of the surrounding valley. As a vineyard estate, the property produces some of the best Pinot Noir in the region. Moreover, the Estate is not contractually bound by the Williamson Act, it's situated next to a residential area and has the potential for development within the wine industry and beyond.
