I grew up in Berkeley, in a family of artists and creativity. My extensive knowledge of the Bay Area, coupled with a creative passion for design and space, allow me to provide clients with a thoughtful, personalized approach to real estate. This also provides a unique creative perspective, to find not just houses, but homes that resonate with my clients’ lifestyles. Before diving into real estate, I spent over two decades working in healthcare management, at UCSF Medical Center and SFGH Trauma Center. I honed my leadership skills in communication, problem-solving, budget, and teamwork – all vital skills in the world of real estate. I also loved being able to help people. Upon early retirement, I was attracted to real estate with my love of design and creativity, beautiful architecture, and the continued love to help people. I brought with me the heart for service and the meticulous attention to detail I’d honed throughout my management career.

My leap into real estate began with a deeply personal project close to my heart: remodeling my late parents’ Berkeley home. My father’s large vibrant art studio was in the basement, overlooking the garden; I partnered with a talented contractor to remodel it into a living/office space, while preserving the original character and heart of my dad’s painting and printing studio. This blend of creativity and respect for history continues to define my approach to real estate.

I earned my real estate license in 2016 and joined Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in Berkeley, where I became a top producer for several years. I immediately loved the satisfaction of connecting with real estate clients, helping to build their confidence in the buying or selling process, and successfully closing their home sale escrows with them.

Alongside my client work, I’ve built a successful real estate investment business, specializing in renovating fixer-uppers with care and creativity. With each project, my partner and I thoughtfully preserve original details, while adding in beautiful contemporary features. Our designs often include altering the existing floor plans, to create living spaces that fulfill contemporary home buyer expectations. We also love to incorporate reclaimed finishing materials whenever we can. Each fixer is a new canvas, to design beautifully and to renovate with details unique for that property.
