Elizabeth Humphreys

Elizabeth Humphreys has been a licensed real estate agent in California since 2015. She is the founder and CEO of Zephyr OZ, a company specializing in the formation and management of Qualified Opportunity Funds on behalf of developers. She worked in the legal department of Materialize, NV, a leading 3D printing company at its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium, before moving to Los Angeles, California and becoming a commercial real estate broker at BRC Advisors, specializing in multifamily residential sales in Hollywood and land sales across Los Angeles, California. Elizabeth founded Zephyr OZ GP LLC in June 2019 to consult on OZ legislation with her developer clients in Los Angeles.

She has since set up qualified opportunity funds for developers in multiple cities in California, Hawaii, and Texas. She now resides in the Coachella Valley and specializes in luxury homes, investment properties, equestrian properties, and land sales. Elizabeth is an avid equestrian and horse owner; she started riding at age 8, competing in show jumping in New York and Princeton, New Jersey. She started playing polo at age 14 at Eldorado Polo Club in Indio, California, but did not take up the sport full time until she went to the University of St Andrews in Scotland where she joined the polo team. After moving to California in 2015 Elizabeth became a polo coach at California Polo Club in Los Angeles and competed at Santa Barbara Polo Club. She now competes in the Coachella Valley and keeps her horses in Thermal.

Elizabeth has a BSc in Biology from the University of St Andrews, St. Andrews, Scotland, a MSc in Marine Science, Policy, and Law from the University of Southampton, England and received a Graduate Diploma in Law and completed the Legal Practice Course from BPP in London, England.
