Stuart Shankle

Stuart Shankle is a native of the Monterey Peninsula as well as a third-generation real estate broker. He attended high school at Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach and then the University of California Santa Barbara, graduating with a degree in business economics.

Prior to affiliating with Sotheby’s International Realty, he was the broker/owner of Shankle Real Estate Inc., a small boutique firm, which generated in excess of $2 billion in sales volume. Stuart has been involved with the Monterey County Association of Realtors® in numerous capacities including the investment task force, grievance committee, professional standards committee, board of directors 2010-2013, and as an ethics advocate.

He is married to Dee Shankle and they have two adult children and two border collies. Outside of real estate he enjoys fly fishing, wakeboarding, and growing tomatoes.
