Gary DiMauro

After building a very successful 5-office independent brokerage in the Hudson Valley, Gary DiMauro Real Estate, Inc., Gary caught the eye of Sotheby's International Realty. Looking for a foothold in the burgeoning Hudson Valley, Sotheby's targeted Gary to lead the Hudson Valley region. Gary was ready to grow his business to the next level and go from boutique to bespoke, and after fielding interest from Compass, Corcoran, and Houlihan Lawrence, Gary chose to partner with Sotheby's International Realty. Gary was honored to be part of the power and stature of the world's premier luxury brand, and is now EVP/NY Partner/Owner of Four Seasons New York region. Since 1988, Gary has been a resident of the Hudson Valley. Captivated by its beauty and quality of life, and its treasure trove of antique homes, he got his real estate license in 1990 and opened his first office in the then undiscovered village of Tivoli, NY in 1993. Gary was an integral player in Tivoli's renaissance, and realized the importance of preserving and energizing our historic Hudson Valley towns. With his passion and eye for great properties, and branding focused on living the 'Hudson Valley Dream', he quickly become, and continues to be a leading presence in the valley. Gary has recently reignited his passion for theater, and is now investing and producing Broadway productions. He is a four-time nominated and two-time Tony Award winning co-producer: in 2019-2020 for 'Best New Play' for the two-part epic play, 'The Inheritance', by Matthew Lopez. And in 2023-2024 for 'Best Revival of a Musical' for 'Merrily We Roll Along', by the late, great, composer & lyricist, Stephen Sondheim.
