Timothy Smith

Tim brings a unique combination of international experience and local knowledge to his real estate practice. Having lived in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, and several Denver Metro neighborhoods, he is deeply familiar with the communities across the Front Range. With a keen understanding of the Pikes Peak region, Tim has witnessed its growth firsthand since moving to Colorado Springs in 1982 and began investing in the area in 2010.
Before venturing into real estate, he spent 18 years in technology leadership roles, primarily in the Financial Services industry. His most recent role was as Director and Vice President at BlackRock, a premier global investment management firm. Tim’s career also took him abroad, where he spent nearly a decade living and working in Singapore. This international experience helped him develop a rich cultural awareness, build a worldwide network of client relationships, and sharpen his ability to simplify complex challenges.
Tim’s success in the corporate world was built on a foundation of integrity, honesty, and a commitment to exceptional customer service—values he continues to bring to his real estate work. Prior to joining LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, he owned and operated Better Homes Realty of Colorado until late 2020. After being introduced to LIV Sotheby’s that same year, he was drawn to the brand’s commitment to excellence and knew it was the right fit for his professional goals.
Combining his leadership experience, technology background, real estate expertise, and dedication to client service, he is committed to delivering outstanding results for those he works with. Outside of real estate, Tim and his wife enjoy hiking, snowboarding, scenic mountain drives, mountain biking, and spending time with their dogs. As avid travelers, they embrace new cultures and appreciate great food, coffee, and the company of friends wherever they go.
