A lifelong learner, Janette earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1991. She obtained her Real Estate license in 2006, inspired by the opportunity homeowners have of building wealth. Janette wanted to help people reach their investment and lifestyle goals. The persistence, attention to detail, and results oriented mindset that Janette learned as a veterinarian have benefited her real estate clients in doing just that.
Janette is constantly learning new skills in communication, marketing, negotiation, and technology. She earned a Certified Probate and Trust Specialist from the California Association of Realtors. The highlight of her work is when a client tells Janette “I feared selling my house would be a daunting task but my fears were allayed because of your guidance and support” or “I could not imagine going through the process of buying without you by my side”.
Janette is also passionate about her community. She serves on a local condominium board and is an enthusiastic supporter of local art and music. She is a contributor to Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego. Janette is a California native plant advocate, volunteering with a local habitat re-wilding group. She also enjoys hiking, travel, and improv comedy.
