Jacqueline holds provisional school counselor certification in another state. She has counseled students and was a long-term substitute for special education classes. Some of her counseling work included an internship in New York's largest psychiatric emergency room. Counselors are trained to be good listeners and Jacqueline believes her counseling experiences has allowed her to be a good listener to her real estate clients.
Great listening gives great results in finding a customer's perfect home. Whether buying a first, second or third home, the process can be overwhelming. She pays attention to the fine details of what a client wants and translates those details to the fine details the home and location provides. Having lived abroad and in another area of the country, Jacqueline has experience with all types of homes, styles and people from all over the world. Moving can be difficult and she understands it country to country and state to state, especially as a single parent. Jacqueline can build a snowman and drive a boat. She is a member of Greater Tampa REALTORS® and Tampa Bay International Real Estate Council.
Jacqueline also founded SMART: St. Maarten Animal Rescue Team. It was a no-kill animal organization that focused on spay and neuter and finding homes for the stray animals on St. Maarten. She had a special connection to her dog Sandy who saved her life when she fell off a boat in the Caribbean Sea. If Sandy did not jump in the water when she did, Jacqueline would not be here today. Years before, Jacqueline had saved Sandy and her puppies near her house and that day, Sandy returned the favor.
She is an advocate for children's disabilities in schools, fighting for education systems to not discriminate against kids that have disabilities and for schools to meet the needs of those children that need extra services so all children can succeed. Her attention is on apraxia often affecting the speech - so Jacqueline has become a voice for those with apraxia.
Outside of real estate, she loves good wine and cooking a great meal. Jacqueline attended Medaille College in Buffalo, New York and earned a Bachelor of Science in business and prelaw. She also earned a Master of Science in counseling and human services from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
