Having spent four years as the sales and marketing manager of a regional homebuilder, Matthew gained experience with custom home design, track home construction, handling land acquisitions, working with banks and investors to secure financing, and managing a sales team of over 15 associates in nine neighborhoods. During his tenure, sales increased from 60 homes a year in 2004 to 145 homes sold in 2007. As partner and vice president of a local charlotte real estate agency from 2007 to 2010, Matthew managed land assemblage and entitlements for multiple small to large residential communities and projects in the Charlotte area. Prior to joining Premier Sotheby's International Realty in 2013, Matthew was broker-in-charge of another real estate firm and a managing partner of a general contracting company. He is an experienced real estate investor, holds broker licenses in both North and South Carolina and continues to run a North Carolina general contracting company that focuses on high-end renovations and new construction.
