Rick Head

As a 50-year plus resident of Aspen, Rick is deeply involved in the community as a former Chairman of the Aspen Board of Zoning Adjustments (13 years) and current Chairman of the Pitkin County Board of Adjustments (19 years). In addition, Rick is a founding member of the Aspen Youth Center Board of Directors (30 Years) and a current Vice-Chairman of the Aspen Pitkin County Housing Authority Board of Directors. Rick is also a past President of the Aspen Elks Lodge #224 and current Trustee. Among other committees Rick has served on the Aspen Board of Realtors and has achieved Emeritus Status as a Realtor (40 years).
In the summer months, he is actively involved with the Aspen Junior Golf Program both as an instructor and as a member of the Board of Directors. In the winter, Rick teaches skiing part-time on Aspen Mountain and is a fully certified Alpine and Nordic member of the Professional Ski Instructor of America (PSIA).
