John began his professional career on the trading floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange, and from there spent 13 years as the administrative coordinator for Johns Hopkins' NIH study at the Howard Brown Health Center. Turning his passion for real estate from a hobby into a profession, John worked as an agent and an appraiser, and then joined the Jameson Sotheby's team as a broker. John has a talent for examining properties and visualizing their potential, and enjoys matching clients with their ideal space. John's ability to listen, outstanding attention to detail and friendly demeanor make people feel extremely comfortable and confident when working with him.
John is a longtime resident and investor in Andersonville, and his breadth of market knowledge extends across the greater Chicagoland area. Giving back to the community is a priority for John, and he volunteered with PWAs (person with AIDS) at Howard Brown Health Center, and volunteered for The Names Project (the Quilt). He has worked with seniors at the Center on Halsted, tutored youth for their GED certifications, and taught adult literacy.
