I’m Karen DeMas, a real estate advisor with Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty, known for helping clients see the full potential in a home, whether buying, selling, or preparing a property for market. My background in fine art, design, and hands-on renovation gives me a trained eye for possibility and a practical understanding of what truly adds value.

I earned a BFA from Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and began my path into real estate in 2013 through renovating homes and working closely with homeowners on thoughtful design solutions, staging, and targeted improvements. That experience, combined with having navigated the buying and selling process many times myself, led me to pursue real estate licensure in both Vermont and New Hampshire so I could guide clients through the entire process with clarity and confidence.

I help buyers look beyond cosmetic obstacles to recognize potential others may miss, and I guide sellers in making informed, strategic decisions that enhance presentation and marketability. Originally from Europe and now based in the Upper Valley, I bring both a global perspective and deep local knowledge to my work. I am licensed in Vermont and New Hampshire and hold the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation, which reflects advanced training in guiding older adults and their families through complex real estate decisions with care, clarity, and long-term planning in mind.

Through Sotheby’s International Realty’s global network, I am able to support clients locally while also connecting buyers and sellers worldwide through a trusted referral community.
