Michael Blaylock

Michael has spent his entire life living in and loving the mountains of Western North Carolina. He grew up in the community of Bethel, home of the famous Cold Mountain and his personal favorite, the Shining Rock Wilderness. After a decade of serving his community in law enforcement, working in both the K-9 unit and SWAT team, he relocated to Cashiers in 2017. Michael earned his real estate license that same year and spent three seasons at Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club as a manager in Outdoor Pursuits. This is where Michael developed a deep appreciation for golf club culture and professionalism on the highest level - an experience for which he remains grateful to both the members and management. Mountaintop is also where he met his wife, Caroline, and later proposed to her in front of their closest friends and family. Since then, Michael has dedicated his time serving his clients in real estate with a focus on the communities of Cashiers and Highlands. Outside of real estate, Michael enjoys smoking bbq for a crowd and spending his time with his wife and two gorgeous children, Brooks Wayne and Frances Louise.
