A first-generation American, Ruth was raised in central New York, along the St. Lawrence River, and in Palm Beach County, Florida. Her academic journey at Georgetown University resulted in a Bachelor of Arts and a Master in Public Policy. Leveraging her exceptional attention to detail, Ruth played pivotal roles in technological advancements at Georgetown, before transitioning to the private sector for a technology firm. Since 2002, clients and friends know her as an indispensable partner in their real estate pursuits: achieving homeownership, investing in income-producing properties, and orchestrating optimal sales.


Her expertise extends to new construction negotiations, collaborating with builders on behalf of clients, and representing prestigious builders, including Mickey Simpson Builders, Griffin Head Renovation & Design, Sheridan & Associates, and Castlerock Enterprises. An ICF-certified coach, Ruth’s commitment to guiding clients through decisions is bolstered by her honed listening skills. Beyond her professional pursuits, Ruth is deeply committed to the wider Metro DC region's community, serving on the board of Food & Friends, an organization delivering medically tailored meals to those with serious illnesses. Outside work and community, Ruth finds joy in spending time with her husband, their dogs, and in entertaining. With a daughter attending Virginia Tech, she can now proudly answer the question, 'What's a Hokie?'.
