Takako Ferry

Born and raised in Japan, Takako Ogawa Ferry dreamed her whole life of living on a beautiful tropical island where she could swim with dolphins, and that dream came true in 1983 when she moved to Kauai. In 1987, Takako joined her late husband’s successful real estate brokerage on Kauai’s north shore.

In 2019, Takako was proudly able to bring her understanding and expertise of the real estate business to Oceanfront Sotheby’s International Realty. She holds several professional designations and uses them to service her local, mainland, and international buyers and sellers. Japanese efficiency combined with Takako’s 30 plus years of knowledge and experience in real estate, combined with her global perspective of markets and people has enabled Takako to help her clients realize their real estate dreams and desires. Her motto is “Integrity is the essence of everything successful.”

Takako enjoys sharing the natural beauty and aloha spirit found on Kauai. She believes in living a full life and actively pursues golfing, swimming, hiking, traveling, eating, enjoying music, crafting, knitting, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Takako has two beautiful children, Moana and Makai, and three grandchildren.
