Deborah has specialized since 1975 in selling Northern Virginia homes, land and small commercial properties and has been licensed as a REALTOR® in Florida since 2007. She is especially adept in assisting buyers who are relocating from outside the area and has earned a Relocation Specialist designation. Possessing a passion for historic properties and architecture, Deborah has also briefly studied with and has become a member of National Trust for Historic Preservation. Enjoying architectural tours during national and international travels is one of Debbie's favorite things to do! Deborah has obtained NAR's Resort and Second Home Specialist, (RSS) Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations in order to assist her clientele who may wish to ease into retirement or just have a second residence away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Conducting downsizing seminars for clients has been an additional area of concentration.
Debbie balances her life by playing violin, cello and piano. As an avid music lover, she plays cello with McLean (VA) Symphony and in the summers has played in “pops” concerts with the Annandale (VA) Symphony. In addition, she plays with musical groups in Sanibel, FL and is Vice President of board of Sanibel Music Festival. One of her most unusual music learning experiences was participating in a summer workshop to learn to play Canadian Fiddle in Ottawa, Canada.
Dedicated to her profession, Debbie has taught real estate classes to new, mostly second career agents and has coordinated information seminars and sales meetings. To stay in shape Debbie enjoys walking, jogging or biking.
