Michael Burke

Michael J Burke is an expert in Marin County’s apartment building investments, specializing in everything from duplexes to large apartment complexes. He has been representing Marin’s buyers and sellers for more than 40 years and is the top-producing agent in his field, averaging more apartment sales per year than other agents do in an entire career.
In his many years of income property sales, Michael has gained an expertise and a unique feel for the field that few agents have. He is sensitive to the rights of tenants and knows the proper techniques for showing an income property to potential buyers so as to avoid an untimely tenant uprising. He also routinely counsels his clients in income property-related strategies and laws, tax-deferring techniques, analyzes relevant income and expense statements, reviews leases, and aids in drawing tenant estoppels.
Michael received his BBA from the University of Wisconsin. He and his wife Pam currently reside in hills of Sausalito. They enjoy playing tennis at San Rafael’s Marin Tennis Club and walking the many trails around their home with their two black labs – Thunder and Lightning. He was a recipient of Frank Howard Allen’s “Lifetime Hall of Fame” award, and is an active member of the following organizations:
