Daniel Souza

Daniel Souza is a real estate agent specializing in residential properties in San Francisco. He brings to his work more than a decade of experience as an urban planning consultant, where he managed large-scale community development projects across Northern California. His background in project management and communication now helps him guide buyers and sellers through every step of the transaction process. Daniel is a member of the Kate Tomassi Team, where he supports clients directly while benefiting from mentorship and collaboration at the highest level of the industry.

Before entering real estate, Daniel was a principal planner dedicated to advancing community development initiatives and working closely with local agencies, technical teams, and stakeholders. The skills he developed addressing complex challenges and coordinating across disciplines continue to shape his work with clients today.

Daniel holds a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego. Beyond real estate, he is passionate about mentorship and community building, having launched staff development and well-being initiatives and championed LGBTQ+ visibility in the architecture, engineering, and construction fields.

Daniel and his husband live in Bernal Heights.
