Michael Shea is a trusted Aspen real estate advisor and co-founder of The Shea Team at Aspen Snowmass Sotheby’s International Realty, where he partners with his wife, Layne, to help clients discover and sell exceptional properties throughout Aspen, Snowmass Village, and the Roaring Fork Valley.

With over two decades of leadership experience in luxury goods, technology, and outdoor sports, Michael brings a unique blend of strategic insight, marketing expertise, and deep community connection to his real estate practice. His passion lies in connecting great people with extraordinary homes in one of the world’s most inspiring mountain towns.

A longtime Aspen local and active community member, Michael serves on the Board of Directors for the Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club and can often be found coaching youth sports or competing in mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and SkiMo races. He and Layne live in Aspen with their two sons, Henry and Myles, and share a deep love for the outdoors, family, and the vibrant mountain lifestyle that makes Aspen so special.
