As a lifelong Mainer, Annie was raised in this great state and deeply connected to its communities and traditions. Since beginning her real estate career in 2018 she has become a trusted realtor who looks out for the best interest and needs of her clients. She truly values building strong relationships through good communication and helping clients find their perfect place in Maine. Growing up on the Blue Hill Peninsula and then attending college in Orono has been an asset in providing vast local knowledge of the surrounding communities of Blue Hill, Downeast and the Greater Bangor area.

Annie graduated from George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill in 1982, where she was inducted into GSA Athletics Hall of Fame as a standout athlete and GSA’s 1st female basketball player to score 1,000 points. She went on to play basketball at the University of Maine in Orono where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Annie later served on UMO’s Black Bear Board of Advisors.

Following college, Annie spent 30 years working at G.M. Allen &Son, her family’s 100 year old plus wild blueberry processing plant in Orland. She managed sales and compliance and served as Vice President before the business was sold in 2018.

Throughout her career, she served in public service as a political appointee for the USDA Farm Service Agency, spanning over 30 years through three administrations. She was honored to be appointed State Chair during the last two terms, advocating for Maine farmers and rural communities. She also served on the Wild Blueberry Commission of Maine.

As a lifelong athlete and sports enthusiast, Annie continued to stay active by playing competitive ASA slow-pitch softball competing around the US for many years after college. One of the highlights was leading her company sponsored team, the “Wild Ones” to a third place finish at the 1993 Class B National Championship in Kingman, Arizona.

When not working with clients, Annie enjoys pickleball, being outdoors, kayaking, skiing, and especially navigating the bays around the Blue Hill Peninsula on her Key West boat. She has a love of animals especially for her beloved Maine Coon cats, Red and Sox. Annie spends summers at her cottage on Newbury Neck where she enjoys hosting friends and family gatherings, lobster feeds and just relaxing watching sea life over the bay.

Annie looks forward to continuing to serve buyers and sellers with the integrity, energy, and passion that have defined every step of her journey.

Annie is a licensed Associate Broker, a member of the Mid-Coast Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
