Robert McCray

Robert McCray is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive experience in both residential and commercial real estate. Known for his attention to detail and strong industry connections, he leverages local and regional relationships to navigate complex transactions and uncover off-market opportunities. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Vantage Realty Capital, Robert leads a real estate private equity firm specializing in multifamily investment and development across the Mid-Atlantic region.


In 2024, Vantage Realty Capital was awarded a grant from a Fortune 500 company to support the creation and preservation of housing in the Washington, DC area. Robert is also the Founder and CEO of Stonegate Real Estate Partners, a real estate advisory and consulting firm. His diverse expertise enables him to understand both sides of a transaction, ensuring optimal outcomes for his clients. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, a Master of Real Estate with a concentration in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University, and an Executive MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business. Outside of work, Robert is a passionate car enthusiast and is often spotted around town with a coffee in hand.
