LIV Sotheby's International Realty
Rob, a proud Denver native and third-generation Realtor, has real estate in his DNA. He started in the business in 2002 under the mentorship of his mother, Joanne Ernstsen, one of the founding partners of what is now LIV Sotheby’s International Realty.
“I remember helping my mom put together listing packets for her clients when I was a kid,” Rob recalls. While learning from Joanne — whose illustrious career earned her the prestigious Oliver Frascona Lifetime Achievement Award from the Denver Metro Association of Realtors — Rob absorbed invaluable insights and grounding principles that have guided him throughout his professional life.
Rooted in his mentor's advice — prioritizing clients’ needs above all else — Rob embodies a relentless commitment to the goals of the people he works with. Paired with his real estate investment knowledge, data analytics acumen, and innate understanding of Denver’s neighborhoods, Rob provides the best representation for his clients as they buy and sell in this rapidly changing city.
Rob has spent a lifetime learning and enjoying the unique personalities of Denver’s neighborhoods; he grew up in rural Greenwood Village, and has owned homes and investment properties in Wash Park, West Highlands, LoHi, and Hale/Mayfair. He now lives with his wife, Mari, and their dog, Bella, in a renovated 1906 Denver Square in the Speer neighborhood. An avid golfer, hiker/runner, skier, and amateur chef, Rob enjoys all Colorful Colorado has to offer.
