Alidia White

Born and raised on the Upper East Side, Alidia White attended Hunter College High School in Carnegie Hill. She earned her B.A. from Princeton University, where she majored in economics and earned a certificate in finance, graduating cum laude. Alidia earned her J.D. from University of Maryland School of Law, where she focused on business law. After passing the New York Bar Exam, Alidia practiced law in trusts and estates, working for New York City Surrogate Court Judge, Hon. Robert J. Gigante, followed by a position in the trusts and estates section of the New York State Attorney General's Office, under Eric T. Schneiderman. Alidia chose to leave law and pursue her passion for real estate, beginning her career at Stribling & Associates. Alidia's experience as a trusts and estates attorney allowed her to hone her document review, negotiation, and client relationship skills, all of which she readily brings to her position at Sotheby’s International Realty as an associate broker.

Alidia's finance and business law background makes her especially well-suited to assist clients who are looking to invest in New York City real estate. Her unique background benefits clients seeking to put together a portfolio of properties. Having grown up in New York City, Alidia is able to draw on her extensive first-hand knowledge of different New York City neighborhoods to help investors maximize the return on their investment, while mitigating risk through diversification.

For potential clients coming from the entertainment business, prior to attending law school Alidia worked as a professional singer-songwriter. She self-produced an album of her work inspired by New York City called '52nd Street Sessions.' Her songs have appeared on television and have been selected for recording by other artists. As a result of this experience, Alidia feels a particular affinity for people coming from a creative background.

Alidia believes that one of the deep secrets of life is that “all that is really worth doing is what we do for others.” She listens intently to her clients and acts on what they say. Good things happen when one stays focused and pays attention, and good service is good business.
