Real estate became a passion for Laura after purchasing several investment properties. After deciding to become a REALTOR®, she enjoyed finding special locations and out-of-the-way places others may not discover. Laura obtained her Maine real estate license in 2011 followed by her Florida license in 2018. Currently active in both states, Laura is a member of the REALTORS® Association of Lake & Sumter Counties in Florida and the Acadia Council of the Mid-Coast Board of REALTORS® in Maine. She is an Accredited Buyer's Representative, a Seniors Real Estate Specialist, and a certified ePro® internet professional.
Raised in Maine, Laura grew up on a gentleman's horse farm. In addition to being involved with the local 4-H since the age of eight, she rode saddle seat and showed competitively throughout Maine and New England representing the State of Maine for three years at Eastern States Exposition. Laura owned a Morgan and an American Saddlebred.
Prior to real estate, Laura was a professional photographer, covering major movie premieres and awards shows nationwide. She also photographed live music events in the Pittsburgh and Cleveland markets. Her images were syndicated worldwide in major national and international publications. Laura operated a celebrity photo agency with staff photographers in Los Angeles and New York for over 20 years. She has many fond memories of photographing iconic moments, such as LeBron James during his final high school basketball game, Andrea Bocelli during his first North American performance with the Pittsburgh Symphony, and Elizabeth Taylor at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Party.
Together for over 32 years, Laura and her husband, a retired dentist who owned a practice in Kennebunkport, Maine, enjoy traveling stateside and abroad. In her free time, Laura loves hosting Airbnb guests, dining out, attending live music performances, horseback riding, and visiting small towns around Maine and Florida.
