Dawn David

Dawn David is an expert in sanctuaries. She has a unique talent for finding, identifying, and helping to create spaces and places that feel right. Dawn learned the real estate process from the ground up. She began with showing open houses, then became a seller’s assistant handling transaction coordinating, marketing direction, listing management, and administrative support to help clients navigate through it all. Dawn quickly learned that sometimes the most important thing when working with clients and team members is the ability to hold space for those emotional times that can arise with a sale.

Now a veteran in the real estate process, Dawn embodies integrity, hard work, and is never afraid to roll up her sleeves. She has an understanding of all different situations that may appear in the selling or buying process. She is determined, loyal, realistic, and has an extreme work ethic to always learn more and to always do better. She shows creative service in every detail of a real estate transaction.

Dawn maintains a network of contractors, architects, designers, stagers, and landscapers to help both buyers and sellers envision the perfect space. She understands how homes need to function and align for both clients’ dreams and their budgets. Dawn can’t help but feel emotionally tied to each property because she puts forth her personal best. Each transaction is the beginning of a new chapter in her clients’ lives.

“Hard work pays off,” is the mantra that Dawn learned at an early age. At age seven, she would help her dad at his mechanic shop with everything from paperwork, to bleeding brakes, while running a paper route in the Lakeview and the Mission district.

Focusing on her yamas and niyamas daily, Dawn is a true yogi at heart. Graduating and deepening her practice at Yoga to the People, she loves to share her practice with others. She can be found in the wee hours of the morning running an all-women tactile fitness camp or late at night teaching yoga, helping others to find their strength and ultimately center.

Dawn is a natural leader with a plan and determination to reach almost every goal. Disciplined and laser-focused, developed as a collegiate championship athlete, she uses that hard work and team-centered approach to reach goals, while also knowing that no one person can truly do it all alone.

A mother of two and a tireless advocate for her community, she has volunteered in Brisbane to create a new community park, community skate park, and a new library. Dawn is also a fierce advocate for enriching programs needed in all communities.

Dawn currently serves on the boards of the Friends of Brisbane Library as co-president, Brisbane Dance Workshop, and “The MOB” Mothers of Brisbane. She coaches elementary school-level basketball grades 2 – 5 and is a continual volunteer and supporter of “Facing History and Ourselves,” Emerge CA., Glide Memorial, and volunteers with her kids at the SFFD Toy Drive year around.
