As a former co-owner and Principal Broker of Kauai’s original Sotheby’s brokerage, Sleeping Giant Realty, Debra established a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and results that continues to define her work today. She is widely recognized for her expertise in luxury estates, oceanfront properties, and large land tracts, while her broad experience allows her to skillfully represent distinctive properties across the island.

In 2024, HCT was nationally honored with the Stand For The Arts Award, presented by Ovation TV and Spectrum—recognition given to just ten organizations across the country each year. Debra’s commitment to HCT reflects her dedication to both youth development and the enrichment of Kauai’s cultural landscape. In addition she is on the board of Kauai’s largest independent school, Island School, and she has been a teacher of Transcendental Meditation (TM) since 1974.

Debra resides in Omao with her husband, Ernie, where they embrace the island’s rich culture and natural beauty. Their daughter, Juli, works in the film industry in Los Angeles.
