June Emerson

June Emerson is a relocation professional-in part because she grew up relocating with her military-career father. She married a professional athlete and continued the relocation lifestyle, moving 26 times in 13 years before landing in Manhattan Beach in 2000. She learned early on the value of adapting to new environments and how to do it quickly, so when she began working in real estate in 2004, helping others with their moves was a natural progression. June, her husband and their four children live in the Tree Section of Manhattan Beach and enjoy spending time together at the beach, the mountains or their lake house in Canada.

'I enjoy the challenges of each transaction, but I especially enjoy meeting new people and being a part of such a special decision in their lives.'

'I think it takes listening skills, patience, networking and having ties to the community-as real estate opportunities present themselves in many unconventional ways.'

How do you give back to your community?
'I volunteer through the schools. I support and have worked for Habitat for Humanity and currently am an active member at Give Back Homes.'

What do your clients love about living in the South Bay?
'Most love the small-town feel, friendly people and the ease of location to the beach, the airport and the city of Los Angeles.'

What keeps you interested in real estate?
'Every day and every client is different. I love everything from the chase for a place to helping clients prepare their home for the market.'

'I enjoy relocation: introducing people to new areas and giving them the tools to comfortably help them narrow their search to the perfect fit.'
