Barbara Vogt brings a proven track record in sales and sales management with CBS-TV, NBC-TV, CNN/Turner Broadcasting, and Bloomberg to Sotheby’s International Realty. She has lived in the Greenwich community for over 25 years and raised four children with deep involvement in the Greenwich schools, as well as multiple organized sports and the equestrian/polo scene.

Prior to moving to Greenwich, following broadcast television, she was in institutional sales at Drexel, Burnham Lambert and passed the Series 7. Over the years, Barbara has purchased and extensively renovated two prewar coops on the Upper East Side of New York City, a contemporary home on the ocean in Southampton, and a Georgian Colonial estate built in 1931 in mid country Greenwich. All were sold at a profit due in large part to her renovations and taste. As an art history/architecture major in college and graduate school in Florence, Italy, she has a keen eye for design and quality. She is experienced in extensive negotiations in multiple business platforms, is a strategic thinker, and is discreet and detail oriented.

Barbara is passionate about ensuring that each clients’ needs are tailored to a strategy to buy or sell that meets their goals promptly and professionally. She is dedicated to building long term relationships and committed to full concierge service for her clients. In addition to being a Board of Directors member of the Southampton Fresh Air Home Board since 1989 and the Junior League of Greenwich, Barbara is active locally on the Board of Directors for the Round Hill Association, Green Fingers Garden Club / Conservation, and as co-founder of MINT Investment Club.

She served as team manager at the Greenwich Skating Club for many hockey seasons for her three sons and was involved in the Greenwich Pony Club with her daughter. Barbara’s personal goal is to set the standard for excellence in the dynamic Greenwich real estate market. She is a member of the Greenwich Multiple Listing Service, the Greenwich Association of REALTORS, and the National Association of REALTORS.
