Vanessa began her career in real estate, when as an assemblage and installation artist, she found ways to discover creative local work spaces worthy of both investment and also of calling Home. Working with fellow artists who were also seeking spaces in which to both live and evolve their work led to experience in both residential and commercial real estate and further to her association with the creative teams who developed some of Oakland's first purpose-built live/work communities.
Almost three decades later, this sense of collaboration and dialogue remains at the heart of her business, selling custom-designed homes and one-of-a-kind mixed use and live/ work properties; charming pieds-a-terre' and raw acreage as Vanessa continues to bring her experience and creative vision to energetic working relationships with her clientele, who then often pass her name to their friends and business associates.
