Arlene Kirkland is a dynamic real estate professional who brings a wealth of experience and a personable approach to her clients at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. Born and raised in New York, Arlene has spent more than half her life in Texas, combining the best of both worlds in her vibrant personality and professional expertise. Despite her enduring love for New York sports teams, her heart firmly belongs to Texas.

Clients praise Arlene for her outgoing and personable nature, coupled with a reputation for effectively getting things done. Her friends echo these sentiments, describing her as loyal, compassionate, and generous. Arlene’s extensive knowledge of the Dallas market has enabled her to successfully relocate numerous clients to the area, ensuring smooth transitions and satisfied customers.

Before her current role, Arlene managed marketing and branding for a local senior living community, where she excelled in creating various forms of promotional content. Her proficiency in social media advertising and B2B marketing is extensive, honed through her diverse experiences. Additionally, she managed the challenging task of raising four boys, balancing home life with her professional ambitions.

Arlene and her husband have deep roots in Dallas, where they raised their four sons. Her eldest graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and now lives in New York City, a testament to the blend of their New York-Texas heritage. Arlene has a comprehensive understanding of both public and private schools in Dallas, stemming from her active involvement in her children’s education. She has held multiple leadership roles at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School and Mockingbird Elementary, and her volunteer work has made significant impacts, such as raising $1 million for the Jesuit College Preparatory School auction.

In addition to her professional and volunteer commitments, Arlene enjoys playing competitive tennis, attending her kids’ sporting events, and cooking. She previously ran a catering company, finding immense joy in cooking for others. Her philosophy is simple: “The biggest compliment I can ever get is an empty plate!”

Arlene’s dedication, community involvement, and passion for helping others make her an invaluable asset to her clients and community alike.
