Before launching her real estate career, Shayla spent over a decade with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, serving as a Physical Security Specialist and Advisor. Her experience advising high-level stakeholders, managing complex projects, and navigating critical decisions translates seamlessly into real estate — where she brings clients a calm, strategic, and detail-oriented approach. Outside of work, Shayla takes great pride in serving her community. As a member of local organization, L.U.V (Let Us Volunteer) she served as Volunteer Coordinator and established partnerships with S.O.M.E (So Others May Eat), Ronald McDonald House Charities, Capital Area Food Bank, Food for Others, Martha’s Table and Food for Friends.
