As a top-producing, award-winning real estate professional, Karen Hegemeier has been a top-producing agent and was recognized as a Top 100 agent in 2021 and 2022 by Premier Sotheby's International Realty, gaining membership to their exclusive and esteemed Club 1744.

Karen was born in Orlando and raised in Tampa, bringing an expansive knowledge to the Tampa Bay market as a native Floridian. She holds the highest residential single-family home record sale in Pinellas County, a privately marketed Gulf-front estate for $16,500,000 in 2019. She also has sold NFL, MLB, and other celebrity properties during the past few years. Karen holds the prestigious Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. This certification is obtained through selling high volumes of luxury properties and is recognized as a mark of accomplishment in luxury markets around the world. The CLHMS designation assures sellers and buyers that the agent who has earned it will have the experience, competence, and knowledge they require to market and consult in the luxury market space. In addition to residential homes, Karen has a lengthy resume of experience in condominium buildings as a listing advisor and has established record-breaking sales in luxury high-rise buildings throughout Clearwater Beach and Sand Key.

Karen also owns a small portfolio of investment properties throughout South Tampa and North Clearwater Beach and can advise the top investment markets throughout Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater areas. She has over 35 years of experience managing her own properties and can consult interested investors based on this vast knowledge obtained over time.

Outside of real estate, Karen was a piano performance major at the University of Tampa. She retired as a pianist at First Baptist Church of Tampa, where she served for 31 years, and at other various churches for 10 years. She is passionate about giving back to the community by finding needs that need to be met and supporting those needs with whatever resources are needed. In addition, she supports various mission trips and supports a non-profit organization called New Story, an organization that builds 3-D printed homes in third-world countries. She enjoys spending time at the beach, riding her eBike, watching movies, and traveling.
