She grew up in Green Bay, WI in a trucking family and lived in NYC as a McKinsey Consultant, London as an investment banker with Lehman on the fixed income trading floor and then Lake Forest, Il to raise her children and return to her trucking roots. At her core she believes in love when helping someone buy or sell a home.
Ilse has her BA in economics from Lawrence University and her MBA in finance from Northwestern. She is the co founder of the Invstr Foundation and believes financial literacy is as important today as literacy was 100 years ago.
Ilse has two children. Charlie lives in London and works in geospatial AI. He went to Northwestern and double majored in economics and journalism and Insead for his MBA. Addie went to Williams and lives in NYC as a research analyst.
