Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. His distinguished career includes serving as a commercial real estate lender and a partner in Baker Tilly’s Madison office for over 20 years, where he led the firm’s real estate investment banking practice and served on its board of partners.

He has acquired, sold, and managed numerous primary residences, secondary homes, and investment properties. As the former president of his condominium association and chair of its House Management Committee, he developed a profound understanding of condominium governance, developer transitions, the construction defect resolution process, reserve requirements, and the financial stewardship necessary for maintaining luxury residential communities.
