Calling Peterborough home for the last 15 years, Penelope has an extensive knowledge of the Monadnock region. She appreciates living in an area so rich in nature and culture and is excited to share her love and knowledge of the area.
She comes to real estate with a background in philanthropy, having worked at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and at The River Center in Peterborough.
Penelope earned her undergraduate degree from St. John's College in Santa Fe, NM, where she studied the Great Books program and received her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts . She then became an educator in France and travelled extensively in western Europe. Art and an interest in philanthropy drew her to Boston. A chance weekend trip to hike Mount Monadnock introduced her to Peterborough, and she immediately fell in love with the area.
Penelope's experience living in a variety of places has greatly influenced her and has offered her the opportunity to work with a broad range of people. She relates well with people from every background, is a good listener, and loves to hear people’s life stories. Combined with her excellent attention to detail, this skill set helps her to ensure that her clients fulfill their real estate goals.
In addition to spending time with her husband and two children, Penelope enjoys hiking with her poodle, skiing, sewing, book clubs and synchronized swimming with a local group of swimmers. Penelope has volunteered locally with the Parent Teacher Organization, the Peterborough recreation department, and the Children’s and the Arts committee. Consequently, she is familiar with educational and community resources that are available in the area.
Penelope is originally from Sarasota, Florida. Of the many places Penelope has lived and visited, she has chosen to create a life in the Monadnock region because she believes that it is a unique and beautiful place to live. She cares about her community and clients and is dedicated to making sure that their real estate goals are met.
