Hannah Nielsen

Hannah is a real estate agent licensed in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Originally from Germany, Hannah moved to DC in 2006 to continue her career in international development. During the pandemic, after almost 20 years working as an economist, it was time for a change! With experience having bought, renovated, and managed properties here in DC, she turned her keen interest in real estate into her career.

Hannah’s background in economics and management of large and complex projects has honed strong analytical and negotiation skills that enable her to manage real estate transactions as seamlessly as possible, helping her clients successfully sell their properties or secure their dream home.

Hannah specializes in residential properties including rentals. Having lived and worked in Germany, Namibia, Lesotho, and Brazil, Hannah is very aware of the challenges that come with long distance moves and is especially invested in helping international clients through the process of finding a home in the DC area. Fluent in English, German, and Portuguese, she is a hard worker and dedicated to meeting her clients’ interests.

Hannah lives in Tenleytown with her family, including two teenagers and their pets. Outside of work, she manages her kids’ sports teams and enjoys traveling as a family and spending time outdoors, including hiking, kayaking on the Potomac, and exploring DC from above with her private pilot’s license.
