Thomas Bühre

My name is Thomas Bühre, born in Hanover, and I have been working in the real estate sector since 1997. After graduating in business administration in Trier and Birmingham, I gained my first professional experience as a consultant for commercial real estate at Blumenauer / Aachen Münchener Insurance. In 1999, I took on a leading role in real estate development for the EXPO 2000 with NILEG (NORD/LB).

In 2001, as a franchisee of an internationally renowned brand, I founded a brokerage company, which I successfully built up over 15 years and established with 120 employees in northern Germany. After the successful sale of the company in 2016, I dedicated myself to building up a private residential real estate portfolio as part of a family office.

In 2022, I took over the license partnership of Niedersachsen / Bremen Sotheby's International Realty and opened the first flagship store in Hanover in 2023. In my current role as Managing Director, I bring my many years of experience and in-depth understanding of the real estate market to help our clients find exclusive residential and investment properties in the most desirable locations.

My expertise includes premium residential real estate, commercial real estate with a focus on smaller residential investments as well as regional and international real estate developments. Advice, structuring and support for investment processes are just as much a part of my service portfolio as the development of individual strategies for discerning buyers and investors.

My ambition is not just to sell properties, but to create a sustainable value. Integrity, professionalism and a keen sense of my clients' wishes are always at the heart of what I do. With my passion for exclusive real estate and my many years of market knowledge, I am delighted to set new standards in real estate consulting as part of Sotheby's International Realty.
