Sarasota, Florida, Manatee County, 34236Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, John Odorzynski was living in Lakeville, Minnesota, when he visited his parents in Sarasota one winter. Deciding to take advantage of the amazing weather and beaches, excellent public school system, thriving downtown scene, and business climate, John moved his two young children to Florida and has called Sarasota home ever since. Along with fellow Premier Sotheby's International Realty sales associate Jaya Brossard, John has created a team to provide superior customer service, attention to detail, and local knowledge, personally delivering expert care to their buyers and sellers every step of the way.
Prior to embarking on a second career in real estate, John was a successful human resources executive. In addition to 15 years of expertise in recruiting, training and employee development, John honed his skills in negotiating, sales, and marketing while working for well-known companies such as American Family Insurance and Allstate Insurance.
His interest in real estate began as an investor in condominium and single-family homes around the Sarasota area. A high-energy and charismatic professional, John draws upon his personal experiences with the Sarasota real estate market, as well as his firsthand knowledge of the school system and the area's private and public golf courses, to match his customers with their ideal properties.
John is a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics and marketing before going on to earn a Master of Business Administration. In his free time, he is an avid long-distance runner who has completed 12 marathons, including the Clearwater Running Festival, and a frequent golfer at TPC Prestancia in Palmer Ranch, where he is a member. A devoted father, John coaches his young son and daughter's soccer and basketball teams and is an active parishioner at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
