Becky Jones is the Vice President and Brokerage Manager of the Sotheby's International Realty - Monterey Bay Region. She has been a local resident since 1978 and has over 20 years of real estate sales experience as a top producing agent. As a non-competing manager, she provides agents with the highest level of transactional support, marketing, and business planning matters. Her expertise and extensive real estate experience span all price ranges and cities in the Monterey Bay Region. She has been a member of the Sotheby's International Realty President's Council since assuming leadership in 2019.
Becky's passion for marketing is evident through her educational background, which includes an MBA in marketing. She has also taught marketing at the postgraduate and graduate levels at both the Naval Postgraduate School and Monterey Institute of International Studies. With this expertise, she helps agents build their personal reputation and business plans while strengthening local brand presence.
In addition to her real estate career, Becky has held management positions with several Fortune 500 companies, including Cisco, Whirlpool, Sony, and McGraw-Hill Corporation. Her experience in management provides her with valuable insights into business operations and strategies, which she uses to guide and mentor her agents.
Becky's academic achievements include an MBA in marketing from Golden Gate University, a Master of Education from Chapman University, and a Bachelor of Science in sociology and psychology from Arizona State University. She is also actively involved in the community, serving on the Governing Board of Directors for the Big Sur International Marathon and on the Executive Committee for MLSLISTINGS. Becky serves on the Board of Directors for the Carmel Chamber of Commerce and acts as the liaison for Leadership Carmel. In addition, she is committed to lifelong learning and currently holds the positions of Real Estate Program Chair and Instructor at Monterey Peninsula College.
