Jan Flaherty

Jan Flaherty has lived in the greater Annapolis area since the late 1970’s and has been selling Real Estate in the Chesapeake Bay area and the Eastern Shore for twenty years. She is extremely knowledgeable regarding our many unique communities from Historic Annapolis, to the Rivers and Bay, to the pastoral farms of South County.


Jan brings a unique set of skills to the marketplace. Her attention to detail and negotiating skills, in addition to her ability to create productive relationships with other agents has been instrumental in securing success for her clients. Jan provides personalized service for each client, including marketing plans, scheduling and staging and also assists in identifying the best resources available, such as contractors, inspectors and lenders. She is highly respected for her professionalism, energy, integrity and dedication to her clients.


Jan graduated from Niagara University in New York with a degree in English and also completed graduate courses in Communications at the University of Maryland. Having a love for travel and adventure, she joined United Airlines after graduating from college and traveled all over the world for over thirty years. Jan’s airline career allowed her to be based in London and Paris for several years and furthered her appreciation of cultural diversity and global connections.


When not pursuing Real Estate, Jan can be found boating, kayaking, swimming, biking and generally enjoying our naturally gifted area. She truly understands the magic of living on or near the water.
