In 2022, he was recognized as the #1 Broker companywide and the #2 Broker across all brokerages statewide by The Wall Street Journal / RealTrends. His client base includes managers to C-level executives at some of the Pacific Northwest’s largest corporations, placing him in the top 1% of brokers nationwide by volume.
Jay’s brokerage career includes tenures at two of Seattle’s most storied firms: Ewing & Clark, the city’s oldest luxury real estate brokerage, and Coldwell Banker Bain, the then top-performing Coldwell Banker affiliate worldwide. At both firms, Jay and his business partner led their offices in production. He was appointed to the Board of Regents of LuxuryRealEstate.com while at Ewing & Clark, and at Coldwell Banker, he earned the company’s highest distinction: International President’s Premier.
Nationally, Jay is a member of the WSJ / Barron’s Group Leaders in Real Estate Council, an invitation-only thought leadership network. He is also part of Sotheby’s International Realty’s Next Gen Affinity Group—a curated group of 40 agents selected from over 21,000 worldwide—and is active in the Exceptional Agent Network, a collaborative forum of top-performing brokers in key metropolitan and destination markets across North America. Locally, he serves as a Founding Director at Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty and chairs the firm’s Steering Committee.
Jay holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from the Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Washington, where he also studied land use and urban planning.
