Stephen Murphy

Stephen and his family have had a vacation home in Charlestown for the last 10 years. They have enjoyed the easier pace of life so much, that they decided to relocate from New Canaan CT, where they lived for 16 years, to enjoy the beauty of the area year-round. Stephen entered into the Real Estate industry as a new challenge after having had a 25-year career with several Wall Street Investment Banks as an Equity Trader. With his financial experience, Stephen clearly understands how the changing economic environment affects and influences the real estate market. To that end, he will always look out for his client’s best interests and work to achieve the best possible and beneficial outcome in all transactions.
Stephen and his wife Claudia live with their four children in Shady Harbor. Their children attend Charlestown’s public schools and are involved the town’s various sports. He and his family love everything that the Rhode Island life has to offer; surfing, beach, tennis, fishing as well as their annual boat trips to Block Island. Stephen is an active member of the Shady Harbor Fire District Community and is a Board Member of the Nopes Island Conservation Association
