His interest in real estate began while being raised in a period Nantucket whaling captain’s home. Since then, he and his family have owned and restored several historic properties, both on Nantucket and Cape Cod. In 1992, Parke founded The Weather Store, a clicks-and-bricks retail operation, and, as a third-generation antiques dealer, he modernized and manages the family business, Paul Madden Antiques.
Parke currently resides in an 1865 Sandwich home with his wife Jennifer, Chief Curator at Heritage Museums & Gardens. He is a graduate of St. Mark’s School and holds a degree in Classics from the University of New Hampshire. Parke is an active volunteer teaching art history in the Sandwich school system where his two children are enrolled and coaches youth basketball for Sandwich Recreation. In his free time, he enjoys crafting handmade wooden surfboards, saltwater fly-fishing, and beekeeping.
