Florence Danforth-Meyer

Florence Danforth-Meyer has lived in Manhattan since 2006, growing up in nearby Locust Valley, NY. She joined Sotheby's International Realty in 2012, after three years at In New York Realty. Florence has always had a passion for real estate and Sotheby's International Realty allows her to combine her love of the industry with her ability to form meaningful personal relationships.

Florence is an associate broker and in the top 2% of Anywhere Real Estate Inc. agents nationwide. She provides clients the analyses and knowledge of the New York City real estate market in a thorough, personable, and timely manner. Fusing her savvy marketing and negotiating skills with personalized research, Florence is able to help keep her clients well-informed and confident throughout the process of buying, selling, or renting. Before beginning her career in real estate, Florence worked for the Martha Stewart brand as well as Metropolitan Home magazine, which gave her exposure to a plethora of properties. She brings to her clients a background in design, marketing, and finance, as well as a strong dedication to thinking of and anticipating their needs both early on and beyond the closing.

Additionally, Florence is on the board of Girl's Quest, an organization that helps to nurture girls from low-income families in New York and helps them to be active members in their community, as well as on the board of Southampton Fresh Air Home, a nonprofit center offering year-round recreational and educational programs for children and young adults with physical disabilities.
