James Tola is an accomplished global real estate advisor with Premier Sotheby's International Realty's Asheville office, bringing nearly three decades of real estate expertise to the table. He is dedicated to serving his clients with a deep understanding of the local luxury real estate market. James holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a focus in marketing from Western Carolina University and a Middle School Certification from Georgia State University.



Before embarking on his illustrious real estate career, James honed his skills in guest services at the renowned Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego and Guest Quarters in Atlanta. He also spent five years as a dedicated middle school teacher in Georgia's Gwinnett County Public School system. This diverse background in service and education laid the foundation for his client-centered approach in real estate.



James began his real estate career in new home sales with D.R. Horton and Pulte Homes, managing all phases of development from land acquisition to post-closing. As a sales trainer at Pulte, he built a reputation for leadership and excellence. He later led the resale division for luxury condominiums at Novare Realty Group in Atlanta and Nashville. James then spent 15 years with Keller Williams Realty Metro Atlanta, specializing in high-end residential sales and leading complex transactions, including a two-year project that developed 44 luxury townhomes near Saint Joseph's Hospital.



James is renowned for his professionalism, integrity, and unwavering commitment to his clients. His personal experience of moving 24 times has given him a unique insight into the emotional and financial complexities of relocation, making him an empathetic and resourceful advocate for both buyers and sellers. His track record speaks for itself — he was ranked third in the Dekalb Association of REALTORS® for sales volume and units sold and earned the distinction of being the top-producing agent in sales volume and units sold for Keller Williams' Southeast region.



Outside of real estate, James is passionate about the outdoors, frequently exploring waterfall trails, and enjoys hosting intimate gatherings with family and friends over home-cooked meals. His love for architecture informs both his professional and personal life, and he is actively engaged in community service initiatives focused on alleviating food insecurity.
