Frannie Smith

Frannie Smith is an Emmy Award-winning news producer who sailed all over the world entertaining thousands of guests for three years before discovering her passion for real estate in 2019. A partner with the Venice office of Premier Sotheby's International Realty, she is a member of the Venice Area Board of REALTORS®.

Raised in Geneva, Illinois, Frannie earned a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Western Illinois University. Following graduation, she moved to Minnesota where she worked as a news producer for the local NBC affiliate in Rochester, winning an Emmy Award after just one year. Frannie's next career move indulged her wanderlust as she traveled the world working as an entertainment host for Carnival Cruise Line.

After three years of visiting far-away places like Tahiti and Australia, Frannie returned to Illinois and obtained her real estate license. While working in the leasing department of a luxury property management company in St. Charles, she quickly became the top producer and was asked to mentor other associates. Within a few months, Frannie was promoted to assistant property manager and served the community in that role until she moved to Florida in June 2022.

Frannie's background in news production, entertainment, and property management has made her an expert at thinking on the fly, staying sharp, and paying attention to detail. Meanwhile, her hospitality experience has provided her with a unique perspective in mastering her people and communication skills while interacting with customers from different nationalities and cultures.

When she's not working with customers, Frannie loves spending her free time outdoors, especially near the ocean. She enjoys any activity involving the water and can't wait to spend more time sailing. Frannie also enjoys reading, making new friends, and spending time with her loved ones.
