Stefanie Henderson

Though born and raised in the Bay Area, I grew up spending holidays on the Big Island, so when the opportunity to relocate here came in early 2014, it felt like coming home. I’m grateful to now raise my family on the island and to be part of a community rooted in warmth, authenticity, and spirit unlike anywhere else.
Prior to joining Aloha Sotheby’s International Realty, I was an executive recruiter with one of the world’s most prestigious executive search firms, Russell Reynolds Associates, and later led my own consultancy. In both roles, I focused on C-level executive and board of directors recruitment across multiple industries, including Fortune 50 companies. Working with sophisticated clients and candidates taught me to ask the right questions, listen deeply, problem-solve creatively, and negotiate tenaciously—skills I now bring to every real estate transaction.

I earned a BA in English Literature from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, followed by a Fulbright Fellowship to Iceland during the 2004–2005 academic year, awarded by the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking and exploring the island with my three children. I look forward to connecting and helping you bring your Big Island dream to life.
