Laird C. Bradley, owner and managing broker of Williamson Group Sotheby's International Realty, established the firm in 2000. He has been fortunate to have gathered a team of talented and dedicated professionals, both he and his Associates have become the top producing individual real estate agency in the Upper Connecticut River Valley and Vermont.
Laird graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Economics and BA in
Journalism employing those skills as a print journalist and in radio and television. This career path led him to work in New York City before taking a road less traveled to Vermont.
Laird has devoted himself to a variety of enterprises over the years guided by passion and curiosity. He has restored antique homes and constructed new ones using vernacular New England architectural styles as a template. He has established, operated and owned several regional businesses including The Prince & Pauper Restaurant and Three Tomatoes Trattoria. More recently he picked up his tools to help renovate and repurpose the October Country Inn for residential providing housing in a zero-vacancy environment.
Laird has long been committed to participating in his community contributing time in a variety of roles as an Incorporator and Trustee of the Norman Williams Public Library, on the Board of Directors of the Unitarian Universalist North Chapel and a founding member of the Woodstock East End Redevelopment Committee, along with roles on local and State governance boards.
Laird’s clients value his capacity for listening, extensive experience, deep knowledge of the area and real estate market, and ability to assist them in accomplishing their objectives through creative co-visioning and collaborative problem solving. His steady personality, easy-going manner and optimistic perspective have been an asset to buyers and sellers as they make some of the most important decisions of their lives.
