Michael Hamer’s journey into commercial real estate was shaped by both his roots and relationships. A Dallas native and graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory School, he was inspired early on by the city’s dynamic real estate community, including mentors from his Jesuit network. Drawn to sales and the camaraderie of a close-knit professional culture, he pursued a marketing degree at Loyola University Chicago while also exploring his passion for music through two industry internships.

After returning to Dallas, Michael immersed himself in the city’s commercial real estate scene, connecting with top brokers and joining a leading brokerage. He started in the research department, gaining a strong foundation in market analysis and tenant strategy before transitioning into a client-facing role as a Tenant Advisor. Working alongside a seasoned mentor, he refined his expertise in lease negotiation, site selection, and relationship management—his favorite aspect of the business.

Now a broker with the Commercial Division at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, Michael leverages his drive, insight, and deep Dallas connections to deliver exceptional results. On weekends, he enjoys running the trails, catching a Mavs or Rangers game, or discovering new restaurants with friends. A devoted fan of music and sports, he thrives on experiences that keep him engaged with the city he calls home.
