Steve Sallion

Steve Sallion has deep roots in Brooklyn, from being born at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital to graduating from the renowned Brooklyn Technical High School. Proud of his Brooklyn heritage, as a long-term season ticket holder for the Nets, Steve is known for enthusiastically cheering at basketball games. In addition to his Brooklyn expertise, Steve boasts extensive experience in navigating the New York City real estate market.

As a seasoned Wall Street veteran and entrepreneur, Steve's business ventures have been featured in notable publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Fortune Small Business. He even graced the cover of Black Enterprise magazine. Steve has shared his expertise in entrepreneurship, private equity, and real estate investing at prestigious institutions like the Wharton School, Columbia University, and Harvard Business School. Leveraging his financial background and global connections, Steve fully utilizes the Sotheby's International Realty global referral network to his advantage.

Currently residing in Prospect Heights, just minutes from the Barclays Center, Steve has over 20 years of personal experience buying and selling property in the Brooklyn real estate market. He believes that a home is a crucial foundation for any family's financial portfolio and educates his clients on the housing market's value. Steve is a proud New York Residential Specialist (NYRS) certified by the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), representing the highest level of accomplishment in residential real estate.

Steve holds a B.A. in economics with a minor in mathematics from Syracuse University, providing him with a solid educational foundation in the field. Active in his community, Steve participates in Community Board 8 for Prospect Heights and Crown Heights in Brooklyn. He is also a founding board member of the Black Luxury Agents Collective, Inc. (B.L.A.C), an organization for black agents at Sotheby's International Realty. Additionally, he dedicates a portion of his annual income to philanthropic endeavors.

Outside of real estate, Steve enjoys exploring new cuisines and restaurants. He maintains his physical fitness by riding his mountain bike in Prospect Park and going to the gym. An avid traveler, Steve frequently embarks on international trips and visits his family in Trinidad, West Indies, annually.
